Prophet Dr. Gbenga Shafe is the Lead Pastor and Founder of The Harvest Word Assembly, a prophetic teaching ministry established on March 1, 2015, with a mandate to raise believers who know God intimately, hear His voice clearly, and faithfully represent Christ in every sphere of life.
What began as a single gathering has, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, grown into a prophetic family with church centres in Maryland, Lekki, Gbagada, Benin City and United Kingdom. Under his leadership, the ministry continues to cultivate an atmosphere of God's presence, teach the Word with clarity and balance, and raise disciples who live consecrated lives, walk in spiritual maturity, and influence their world for Christ. Through the ministry, many have experienced salvation, miracles, restoration, healing, and life-changing encounters with God.
Beyond the pulpit, Prophet Dr. Gbenga Shafe is passionate about developing people and building systems that create lasting impact. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Isaac-Bern Associates Ltd, a human resources, leadership, and technology company, and the visionary behind Orbit360, an AI-powered Human Resource Information System, and EduExcel NG, an educational technology platform.
He also holds doctorate degrees in Leadership and Human Resources and continues academic research in leadership, sociology of education, and human development, reflecting his commitment to lifelong learning and transformational leadership.
He is also the author of That All May Prophesy, a book that equips believers to understand and embrace the prophetic ministry. He is currently writing additional books aimed at helping believers grow in their spiritual authority, hear the voice of God with greater clarity, and develop the spiritual gifts God has entrusted to them, so they can live lives of greater effectiveness and Kingdom impact.
Prophet Dr. Gbenga Shafe is married to Pastor Olawumi Shafe, and together they are blessed with three children. As a family, they are devoted to serving God's people, strengthening families, and raising a generation that is deeply rooted in Christ, led by the Holy Spirit, and committed to advancing God's Kingdom.
